It is hereby notified for the information of all M.A./M.Sc. 2nd and 4th Semester students of the college that online admission will be open from 1st April 2026, as per the prescribed fee structure, and will continue until 15th April 2026. All students of the 2nd and 4th Semesters are instructed to complete their admission within the stipulated period, failing which a late fine of ₹250 may be imposed..

This is to inform all aspiring candidates seeking admission to the Postgraduate (PG-NEP) Programmes in English and Zoology for the academic session 2026-2027 that the Online Admission Portal of Rishi Bankim Chandra College (https://rbccollege.ac.in and https://admpg.rbccollege.ac.in) will remain open for submission of online applications from 08 July 2026 to 14 July 2026.
Candidates are requested to note the following admission guidelines and schedule:
1. No application fee will be charged for submission of the online application.
2. All admissions shall be provisional, subject to verification of eligibility and relevant documents.
3. Applicants must have successfully completed Semester I to Semester V without any supplementary examination in any paper.
4. First Phase of Online Admission Schedule:
    a. Online Application: 08.07.2026 - 14.07.2026
    b. Publication of 1st Merit List: 16.07.2026
    c. Publication of 1st Admission List: 17.07.2026
    d. Admission (1st Phase): 17.07.2026 - 19.07.2026
    e. Publication of 2nd Admission List (if required): 20.07.2026 (after 4:00 p.m.)
5. Commencement of Classes: 01.08.2026.
6. Physical verification of original documents will be conducted after the publication of the Semester VI results and marksheets.
7. The provisional admission of candidates who fail to qualify in Semester VI shall stand cancelled upon publication of the Semester VI results.
8. Admissions shall be made strictly on the basis of the Admission list prepared using the SGPA obtained in the first five semesters.
